A pair of English studio pottery red ware scraffito bowls. These two mid century handmade bowls are by the Milton Head Pottery of Devon, England. They were probably intended for soup, but they would be great for serving up nuts, dips or other snacks. Hand thrown with applied knob style handles. These vintage Hall China cream soup bowls with handles are in the "Autumn Leaf" pattern, also referred to as "Jewel Tea," which features flowers and leaves in autumn toned browns, yellow and orange. These cups measure 4 1/2 inches in diameter across the top, 6 inches across the handles and 2 inches high. They hold 8 ounces. Soup Bowl with Handle - Cinnamon Brown, Fern Green and Blue
My wife is always making soup. You have that roasted chicken leftover and voila - eventually chicken soup. Now it's pretty good, but it's even tastier in these soup bowls. Very generous in size with a handle, yet easy to control. Add some bread, cheese and a glass of wine and I'm happy.
